New car/Mothers Day
Well.... Cant believe Im blogging again so soon, but I am very impatient and just had to let you guys in on my day!! Other than still being sick it has been good!! So me and my husband have been talking for a while about getting a new car.. We both agreed on the pontiac G8! I always thought it would be my car we would trade, but instead T.J. said he would trade his truck (which I hated to see go ) and keep my altima for both of us to drive back and forth to work in that way we would save mileage on the new car and be saving in gas since we both work in Smyrna, so I drive the GMC to murfreesboro to meet him after he gets off from work and they already have a G8 - GT out looking at it.. Black, leather, loaded, very nice I might add and they are talking "car lot" talk I guess you could say, we go inside to see if we can and honestly I was not expecting to walk out of there with that car... I figured we would have to wait a little bit longer but..... we did! we are now the proud owners, and I thought I was excited when I bought my Altima brand new, nope not compared to this!!! I just love that new car smell!!! Anyway... I would have to say a great end to a crappy week!! Tomorrow is mothers day.... I just wanted to let those of you know, who are mothers, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!! Hope you have a great day!! Thank you for all you do!! Everyone that I know that have kids, Happy Mothers Day! Love you guys!! You are wonderful Mothers and one day when we have kids I hope you guys are around to lend some advice!!! Thanks for sharing my day with me! Goodnight!!
Little about me!!
Well.... I have always loved reading other peoples blogs, so this whole week that I have been out of work, commission , or whatever because of the flu I have been thinking about making my own blog... So here goes... I guess I should tell you a little bit about myself.... Im married to my highschool sweetheart.. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. He is my bestfriend and he keeps me sane, those of you who are married know what Im talking about.. There is nothing like having a great husband!! Im 23 years young... I am a big kid at heart... My family and god are my number 1 priorities... I am a BIG family person... I live next door to my parents if that tells you anything... I brag on my little brother toooo much... He is 15 and races dirtcars.. He has been racing go-carts since he was 8 and last year started racing cars... My dad use to race, so we all have the need for speed! We also love us some football!! Go VOLS!! I am a NY Giants fan, not because they won the superbowl, I was a fan before! I like the underdogs... T.J. is a dolphins fan....We live in centertown and I am very proud to be from this place... Country girl... Everyone at work makes fun of my accent.. Honestly I didnt think it was that bad till I started working there lol.... I work in Smyrna at StoneCrest Medical Center.. Love it there everyone is great and helpful!! I am a scrub nurse.. Hopefully soon I can get back in school and get my First Assistant.... I have a yorki-poo Maggie Lauren she IS mine and T.J.s baby! There is no other dog like her. I swear she is human! I actually call her my babydog.... We hope to have kids one of these days when god is ready.... We thought we were going to this July, but things did not work out.. Thats ok though... I have always said and heard "everything happens for a reason" and It does... When god is ready we are ready.... I think in life you need to be who you are.. We all make mistakes and trust me I have made mine.. Thank god I have people that love me and take me for me in my life.... Noone is perfect... I always like to think Why cant everyone just be friends and have fun!!?? But sometimes other people just need time to grow up I guess you could say... Everyone is different.. People handle things differently.. Enough about that.... I have some great friends... I have learned its not how many friends you have in your life, but about the ones that you do have. That may not make sense and a lot of the times I dont make sense..... I always try to live by.... " It could always be worse" That has got me through a lot and Im sure its gotten other people through a lot.... Well I think Im done rambling about me. Hope you have enjoyed this....
